New regulations approve NoticeConnect in Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan has updated its estate administration rules and now allows Notices to Claimants to be published on NoticeConnect.
The Changes
Note: The Government of Saskatchewan has made a recent correction to these amendments, clarifying that an estate trustee may publish in a newspaper OR on NoticeConnect. The previous version mistakenly required both types of notices.
This change is an exciting modernization of estate administration in Saskatchewan and makes it easy for estate trustees to protect themselves from liability for outstanding debts of the deceased.
